This Pub is Permanently Closed
This free house is immediately recognised by its distinctive Donnington pub sign - a throwback to the days when it was owned by Donnington Brewery. The present building is the third Bell Inn, converted from a group of labourers' cottages just before the turn of the century. The original in nearby Dent's Terrace was demolished at the time of the Crimean War, while the second Bell was an ale house down the road. This popular community runs dart and crib teams and has satellite TV for major sporting events. Light bar snacks at lunchtime.
