16th century coaching inn with wooden panelling and a timbered ceiling. The large drinking area always has a good range of interesting ales. Separate dining area past the stairs. Was internationally famous for employing Dolly the ever-popular 100 year old barmaid who unfortunately passed away in early 2015.

Re-opened in July 2021 after renovation. Still Fuller's managed pub but within the "Bel & the Dragon" division.

Historic Interest

Until early 2015 the pub employed Dolly Saville, the world's oldest barmaid at 100 years old.
