This Pub is Closed Long Term
CLOSED as a gastropub and Cubitt are reported to have disposed of the lease in Sept 2023. The site as at October 2023 was operating as a pop-up fast-casual restaurant, Fowl, serving chicken. It is operated by the team behind Fallow restaurant very close by.
Previous description follows:
A new-build gastropub in the central courtyard of St James’s Market, with an outdoor terrace and two floors of seating and dining. The pub features bespoke leather banquettes, glass chandeliers, statement artwork, and a mezzanine dining room. The venue is named after the eponymous Regency arbiter of fashion who, after falling out with the Prince Regent, fell into debt and eventually died in France penniless and insane from syphilis.
The pub offers an extensive wine menu plus one real ale, craft keg beers, cocktails, and a food offering with a changing seasonal menu.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
