This pub is a Toby Inn. Two 17th Century houses have been joined together with a modern extension at the side to form a multi roomed establishment with lots of different areas and cosy corners. As you would expect the emphasis is on food, but rooms on the left double as a drinkers area and the pub supports darts teams. There is a large terrace to the front with tables and chairs facing onto the main road whilst a large car park is located at the side.Food is served all day from the carvery, but light snacks are also available. The pub is family friendly and gets very busy, particularly at weekends when it is advisable to book in advance if having a meal; otherwise you may have to wait a short while for a table to become available. Breakfast is served from 9am Friday, Saturday and Sunday but alcohol may not be available at these times.
