This Pub is Closed Long Term
The owners sadly went into administration in September 2020, the pubs is currently closed and its future is uncertain.
This lovely rambling pub with two function rooms was refurbished in October 2017 and it is plushly furnished throughout, with an extensive restaurant and delightful lounge serving local ales. It was built by the then owner of Tyntesfield, Matilda Blanche Gibbs, shortly after her husband's death in 1875, to provide nearby estate workers with somewhere to dine and sup. The Tyntesfield estate is now a National Trust property and open to the public. The pub opens at 8am for breakfast.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
