Greene King-managed pub a stone's throw from the coast and the finishing point of the Great North Run. The spacious, open plan pub has a raised dining area at one end and a games area at the other. Mainly a locals pub but also popular with families who come to enjoy the extensive food menu, which is served all day. There are 4 handpulls serving a mixture of Greene King beers and guests. The pub offers 10% off a pint for CAMRA Members

The pub has an excellent outside area facing the sea with dining tables and dog watering bowls. There is a quiz every Sunday and Tuesday from 7pm and live music every Saturday from 8pm. There are bus stops on the coast road passing the pub as well as on Bamburgh Avenue .
