Tucked away in the Vale of Berkeley, Alkington Cidery is one of a handful of traditional cider houses in the UK

Celebrating Gloucestershire’s rich cider-making heritage. Housed in a lovingly built replica of a 150-year-old cider house, producing traditional still cider and perry using 100% fresh juice from hand-picked apples and pears sourced from local, unsprayed traditional orchards.

Made using traditional methods and served directly from the vessels in which it matures, our cider reflects the character of the local orchards. Run by four volunteers passionate about preserving cider heritage and traditional orchards, we offer a warm welcome and an authentic cider experience.

Opening hours: Fridays, 3pm–8pm. Closed January–March.
