Unspecified new operator to open as a sports bar
A busy Wetherspoon shop conversion in the heart of Green Lanes shopping area, opened in 2006, comprising a large open pub area with booths to the side. Six of the ten hand-pumps offer the usual ever-changing range with the manager regularly obtaining beers from the wide list of London breweries. The pub is named after a local First World War soldier who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his heroic action in France in 1918.
Closed 19 May 2024 and reported reopened December 2024, still work in progress, no real ale but 3 installed handpumps expected to be operational in January 2025
