Historic Interest
A post-war estate pub, originally the Sheaf. In the 1980s served Tetley Bitter (H) and (for a brief period, when it was available), Gilmour’s Bitter (H). The 1996 local Sheffield guide lists Ind Coope Burton Ale, John Smiths Bitter, Magnet, Tetley Bitter and Webster’s Green Label (all H). However, the 2011 local guide lists ‘no real ale.’ Soon after that came new ownership, a change of name and the return of cask beer.
