This is an other drinking establishment and you may be charged for entrance at certain times.
Built by the Duke of Montrose in 1868 as a hunting lodge. It was converted into a hotel from early 1930s and has been extended many times. It sits amongst woodland overlooking Loch Achray. It primarily serves hotel guests, mostly coach tour groups organised by hotel owners 'Lochs and Glens Holidays'. It has a restaurant and a lounge bar, but no real ale.
