This Pub is Closed Long Term

Formerly a 14th century stronghold, then a mansion house, it became a Hotel in 1971, with an uptrade in 2004. It was a popular destination for Wedding Parties and Business events. It closed suddenly in March 2023 due to unmanageable debts. It was later the target of vandalism and a deliberate fire was set in September 2024 badly damaging the property. It is still closed, its future remains uncertain
