This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/1/2001, site is now an office building. Closed 1/1/2001. History: Former very large, inter-wars roadhouse, originally Wilsons, then styled as a Watneys house. The name reflects the area of Wythenshawe in which it stood. It had a brief period as Royals too. Opening Times magazine May 2001 reported demolition.
