A former tattoo parlour, we welcome Newport's latest addition to the micropub scene, jointly functioning as a cafe during the day from 9am, and a micropub licensed from 11am in the evening. Opening hours are yet to be finalised. One cask ale is available on gravity at the weekend, plus several keg beers and bag in box ciders, whilst in the bottle shop at the rear a fridge and shelving offer an assortment of tinned and bottled beers. Downstairs is a smartly decorated lounge type room with a variety of classic console games which also has the potential for meetings or private functions. As with other such ventures, it has a degree of quirkiness which attracts people. Framed modern artwork and imitation green foliage on the walls add to its appeal. Open mic and jam session Thursday evening, gigs on Saturday evening. Some might be familiar with its sister micropub, St Canna's Alehouse in Canton, Cardiff.
