This Pub is Permanently Closed
At the time of closure the pub was owned by Robert Silvester of Great Haywood and leased to Buntings Uttoxeter Brewery. The licence was refused in 1912 and after the pub closed at the end of the year the licensee, Mrs Fanny Fiddler, continued to live on the premises and ran a cab business from it. The building was demolished around 1960 and a new building, currently (2022) occupied by Guys & Dolls hairdressers, built on the site.
