This Pub is Permanently Closed

Owned by Bass Mitchell & Butler who decided the pub was surplus to requirements and sold it to Stafford Borough Council. It closed on 15 Nov 1969, was refurbished by the Council and converted to a nursey. . It was subsequently demolished and is now part of Victoria Park.. Location shown is approximate.
