This Pub is Permanently Closed

A beer house, licence refused and closed at the end of 1919. The compensation paid was £1050. Offered for sale as a private dwelling 20 Apr 1920. Licensee at the time of closure was William Ravenscroft, he had taken over from Robert Grant c1910 and in 1904 the licensee was Edwin Warrilow who was also a shoemaker.
