Amwell Springs Brewery "pop-up" bar in a 'garden' shed built in May 2022 in the field about 60 metres south-west of the brewery. A wooden bridge over the brook leads to a seating area of benches and straw bales. There is a stretch tent with straw bales and low level tables made from pallets. Please bring appropriate clothing for the weather.

The handpumped ales are usually cask conditioned, but if there is the demand one maybe bright, i.e. freshly racked off from a cask conditioned container in the brewery.

The Pop Up Bar is also the Amwell Springs Brewery Shop, but please pre-order polypins or mini-kegs.

The closing time may be extended if the weather forecast is good - please check their Facebook page.

Often there are pop-up street food vans.

Note that the last bus back to Wallingford is at 6:55pm from the Papist Way (near Cholsey Rail Station) stop (as at April 2024) but trains run through the evening.

safe walking route from the Papist Way, Cholsey bus stop: 350 metres along Papist Way the same direction as the bus (across the Papist Way, Westfield Road, West End, Station Road cross-roads), left on bridleway under railway bridge, 350 metres up to T-junction, right for 70 metres, left on bridleway opposite Abbey Close, 460 metres crossing two driveways until you see the Amwell Springs Brewery sign pointing to the right, 150 metres and the Pop Up Bar is ahead. From Cholsey Station, left into Westfield Road, then left into West End and follow the safe walking directions.
