Historic Interest

When it opened in September 1989 it was expected to start selling Ind Coope Burton Ale, but by January 1990 it had already been and gone. However in the Great North Western Beer Festival Programme in 1992 it was listed as selling Walkers Best Bitter, this was also mentioned again in Winter 1993 and February 1994. By August 1996 the pub was all keg.
