Opened on 21 Aug 2021, in the former Aagrah training centre and function room, it re-opened under new ownership and management in Oct 2024. Groove Pad is spread over two floors. The 'Studio 48' bar on the ground floor includes a servery with four handpulls offering a constantly varying range of real ales, often from local breweries and including a dark beer. A range of keg taps serve an additional range of drinks. Requests can be made to play music while enjoying your drink and you can even bring your own vinyl records to be played. The top floor contains the live room with its own bar. This room is used for live band performances and functions. It comprises an open-plan main room with an additional adjacent seating area near the entrance and more seating on a balcony. It has a modern minimalist feel befitting of a music bar. Food is available from the in-house 'American Sandwich Bar', with vegetarian and vegan options, every day. Shipley town centre with its rail station and bus interchange are close by.
