This Pub is Permanently Closed

In 1901 the licensee was John Laweston but by 1904 William Pinnock had taken over, he had been at the Brown Jub, Bishops Offley, in 1901. At this time the owner was the Newport Brewery. The licence was refused in 1909 and the pub closed in December of that year. The property is now Fountain House.
