This Pub is Permanently Closed

19th century brick built cottages attached to an 18th century farmhouse. The licensee in 1900 was William Cope and he was succeeded by Miss Mary Cope. Some time betweem 1921 and 1924 it was taken over by William Walker. The licence was referred in 1930, compensation of £750 was paid and the pub closed in December 1930. The property is now a private residence.
