This Pub is Permanently Closed

Closed late 2009. Grade II listed pub/restaurant housed in an extended 17th century cottage on two levels on the side of a hill. The ground floor, accessed from Sergehill Lane, houses a popular restaurant renowned for its fish dishes. The downstairs bar is very much aimed at drinkers, although food is available from a bar menu. The real fire is an added attraction on cold nights. Dominoes are played on Sunday nights.
