Traditional coaching inn on the road between Wooler and Coldstream, close to The Cheviot Hills and only a mile from Flodden Field battle site.

Recently refurbished in a plush and contemporary style the pub offers a number of eating areas: the bar area (where dogs are allowed), a side restaurant, as well as a conservatory looking out on to the rear garden.

Extensive menu, and three changing real ales, usually two from local breweries.
