The tap for Hexhamshire Brewery which is now located in the Beer Garden, this small inn is run by enthusiastic people who brew their own excellent beers; Blackhall English Stout has proven so popular with drinkers that it has ousted the Guinness! To complement the ales there is great home-cooked food - Saturday is curry night. A cosy atmosphere and warm welcome make this pub well worth seeking out. The large garden has a stream running through it and there is plenty of countryside to explore.
