Former farmhouse from 16th century, licensed for over 150 years. The pub has an excellent reputation for good food and accommodation. The bar has a large open fire witha stone flag floor and comfortable furniture. Children are welcome and there is a safe play area beside the pub. Beautiful wine rack skilfully carved from large piece of wood. Dogs welcome and pub typically quiet. Mobile phone signal is poor, which is not unusual for the rural area, however wifi internet access is available. Wednesday to Sunday we open 10am to 4pm as a licensed coffee shop serving scones, cakes, tray bakes, sandwiches etc. As well as wines and beers. The bar it’s self is only open on a Friday and Saturday night from 5pm to 11pm.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Guest Ales from local micro brewers) and 2 regular beers.
