13C former coaching inn with four large rooms and inglenooks. Modernised but retaining the village pub atmosphere. Berties coffee shop added in 2006 as was the Stables Restaurant. Large enclosed garden with children's play area. Focal point of the village throughout the annual Downton Fair.
