This Pub is Permanently Closed

This pub was next to Dorking West station and was also convenient for workers from the local estates. There was a focus on food with the area to the left of the bar being mainly for diners and the area to the right and the stools at the bar for drinkers. In the left side there was a dart board and a television for sports on BT sport or terrestrial channels and you could ask at the bar for board games. Weekly live music is on either Friday or Saturday night and there were fun days with things such as bouncy castles, a balloon man and face painting and charity activities. The pub closed suddenly in 2016, and the site left derelict. It is now going to be used for housing.
