One bar corner pub, with a few structural divisions showing that this was once a multi-roomed pub. Militaria (including many weapons) and old photographs adorn the walls and ceilings, having been brought here by the landlord and landlady when they moved from the now demolished Clifton Arms just up the road. Bar meals are sold from 12-2 (not Monday). A restaurant at the rear is open from 7-9 from Tuesday to Saturday and from 12-2:30 Sunday. There is a collection of rock 'n' roll memorabilia in this room, which can also be used for functions. There are rock and roll events on Sunday afternoon with a quiz on Sunday evening. Pool and darts can be played. The restaurant can be booked as a function room. Note - pub closed September 2019 and future uncertain. A planning application has been submitted for change to a retail unit with flats above.
