This Pub is Permanently Closed
This was a one bar pub dating from the 20th century. It had a separate games area and there was a wood-burning stove in the bar. The pub was well known for its live music, which was played each Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. The pub was demolished in 2004 with permission to put three houses on its site. It was a freehouse and sold a number of different real ales.
