This friendly old inn is hidden away on the western side of the village, but is worth visiting for its unspoilt architecture and equally good beer and food. It is essentially one bar, with darts being played in a small room off to one side. The well-beamed lounge area features a real fire and is very cosy in winter. No piped music is played in the pub, although there is live music twice a month.
Historic Interest
