Large bar with views over the River Yare, with a much larger separate restaurant area. There is an extensive and well-kept garden sloping down to the riverside. It became a Mitchells & Butler's Crown Carvery in 2008, following complete refurbishment and there is an attached Innkeeper's Lodge. Always has one beer available at a very reasonable price (e.g. at last visitin July 2012 Adnams Southwold for 2.25, compared to 3.00 - 3.50 in other pubs in the city).
