This large town centre pub has been refurbished (Aug 2013). It is a popular pub with a varied clientele and remains famous as a great night time and weekday venue, with a good atmosphere. It does get very busy at certain times so if you want a quiet drink then choose your times logically! Food is available at reasonable prices.
