This Pub is Permanently Closed

This popular former roadside coaching inn dating from the 17th century is closed. While it also operated as a B&B for a time this is also now closed. A planning application to convert part of the pub to private residence leaving a smaller part of the pub free to reopen as a pub was lodged and refused in 2018.

Sadly the Pelican no longer trades as a pub or a B&B. It is believed the current owners would be interested in selling.
