Southern Hampshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2024.
A proper street corner local, fronting both Shirley Park and Carlisle Roads. These are tucked away off the main Shirley and Romsey Roads. Parking is difficult at all times - however there are regular bus services to Shirley Precinct which is a short walk from the pub.
Landlady's scotch eggs, pies and sausage rolls are very popular - available Fri & Sat 12-2, along with rolls (until stock sold).
Three ales from Wadworth brewery such as 6X and Swordfish. plus regular guest ales.
The Park hosts local CAMRA branches for 'Park Inn Thursday' once a month opening early at 1pm. Dates available on the Southern Hampshire CAMRA website: shantscamra.org.uk/diary/.
Also hosts two quizzes a week on Sunday and Wednesday respectively. A Christmas gig hosted by Lucien is held every year.
