Although a bit off the beaten track and half a mile from a bus route, this 17th Century village freehouse is well worth a visit for the reception, atmosphere and well kept beers. In 1962 the cottage next door to the original pub was taken over, and with the demolition of the dividing wall, became what we have today. On the walls there are many local village photographs as well as a signed photo of pilots that were based at Chivenor who used to often frequent the pub.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Most recently from Coombe) and 2 regular beers.
