The Old Mill' was converted into a pub in the early eighties, and the mill dates back as far as the 17th Century. Parts of the workings can be seen in the grounds with the mill stones at the front entrance. The working part of the mill was upstairs and the flour was dropped into sacks on the lower floor. The stream that ran the mill used to run to the left of the building but has now been covered due to landscaping. Prior to conversion into a pub the front courtyard had been used for livestock auctions. A pleasing pub to visit with a selection of meals (many of which are suitable for vegetarians). The pub is closed, for the winter, from the end of November to March.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
