Judging by Trip Advisor reports the Lamb closed around September 2023. A planning application 23/10767 has been submitted by Punch Partnerships (PML) Limited to convert to a house and flats, and this was approved 9th April 2024. However, we ahve found one review from June 2024 saying it had recently reopened. More news needed, please use 'submit updates' or 'let us know' if you have any news.

A large, Victorian pub, seemingly composed of a number of different buildings, with slate roofs, dormers and heavy labels. The bar is large, L-shaped and open-plan; it has an area dedicated to the pleasures of pool and darts, and two televisions which show sport, enthusiasm for which is reflected in the pub's sponsoring of a football team and three cricket teams. Marty's Pizzas operates from an open-plan kitchen in the pub; pizzas are served from 5pm until 10pm daily, except bank holidays.
