Quiet as a pub and operates more as a hotel, restaurant and venue for weddings and functions. Worth checking beforehand to ensure they are fully open to the public. One and often two beers from Hanlon's are served on the bar and two ciders from nearby Winkleigh are available. Wonderful grounds and you often get a glimpse of the resident peacocks.
