Set in 14 acres of formal grounds, this hotel is an imposing building with a tower over the main entrance. The walls are decorated with crenels and merlons (castle-style battlements). The hotel has been significantly extended over the years with a conference & event suite to the side and spa to the rear. The bar is straight ahead as you enter the hotel. There are many rooms that can be hired for functions and accommodation is available in 55 rooms. The hotel is also licensed for weddings etc.
