This Victorian pub, originally named the Toad Hole, is located in the lee of a hill in the centre of Burley - known as the 'Witches' Village'. The wooden turnstiles at the pedestrian entrance are there to prevent ponies and other animals from entering. The pub has a single bar with a cosy atmosphere and low-level background music. There is outdoor seating at the front, with an attractive covered terrace to the side. Food is served all day, and consists of traditional pub fare and various specials. Accommodation consists of ten bedrooms.
