This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

The original 17th century Grade 2 listed building has been tastefully extended to provide modern hotel facilities. It was built as a farmhouse and converted into a restaurant in the late 1950s, becoming a hotel some time later.

The entrance is on a spur road behind the main Needham Road.
