This prominent two bar main (A12) road pub with wooden floors throughout was one of the first smoke-free pubs in the country, pre-dating the present smoking ban by a number of years - certainly before 2006.
Historic Interest
Originally only licensed as a beerhouse, the pub got its full license on March 5th 1956. Had a short spell as Monet's restuarant in recent times.
