This large and lively village bar has various seating areas and a central fireplace. Many local pictures on walls and horse brasses adorn the beams. It also still retains outdoor toilets and has recently reinstated the patio seating areas to the front of the pub. Two log cabin letting rooms - both ensuite. Real cider (Giggler 6.3% plus others)
The Lion Beer Club convenes on the first Monday of every month at 2045: The Theberton Lion Beer Club is designed to celebrate all that is good about beer in all its incarnations. Each week those attending contribute £5 in order to sample five beers and have a say in shaping the Lion's future beer list. For each ale or lager sampled, the club will compile their thoughts on 'see', 'smell' and 'taste' as well as assessing the mix of bitterness and sweetness. An overall mark on each will be recorded and over the course of the year a league table developed to identity the Theberton Lion Beer Club's Beer of the Year.
