Situated alongside the Ashby Canal, where it crosses the A5, the pub was originally an 18th-century coaching inn. It offers free garden side moorings and a large canal side beer garden. The first floor lounge has canal views and an open fire in winter.
Downstairs function room available for around 25 people, suitable for meetings, clubs, small gatherings.
