Roadside country pub and restaurant. Accredited for beer quality 2023
A country pub with a log burner, calm atmosphere, food and a restaurant area. It takes pride in being welcoming to the whole family.
On the bar there are local beers, always Bewdley Worcestershire Way and Wye Valley HPA. The pub Ale Club is on Mondays from 6pm, with offers on ales with snacks.
Good value, home-cooked pub food with light bite options are served everyday, also sandwiches, and a carvery on Sundays.
The attractive and very spacious terraced garden at rear includes a lawn, patio, benches and seating. Children's outdoor play facilities include a 'floor is lava' assault course, pirate ship, slides and swings. Elsewhere is a very comfortable smoking shelter.
Also at the back is the 'barn', with its own bar which may offer a real ale by summer 2024. The pub does a lot of family functions, with the barn being in use several evenings a week.
Classic Car meets (on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6.30 and from noon on the last Sunday each month) add a particularly interesting dimension. Up to 250 classic cars have been known to rally at the back of the pub.
Thursday disco nights start at 9pm.
Winter hours vary.
