This Pub is Closed Long Term
Set in attractive countryside, this 16th-century drovers' inn sits below the Berkshire Downs. The two Bowman ales, served from stillage behind the bar, may be supplemented by a local guest in summer months. The front bar, with its huge inglenook fireplace, is used mainly for drinking, while traditional home-cooked food is available in the flagstone dining area at the rear. Accommodation is provided in ten en-suite rooms in the separate building at the rear of the pub.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
