This Pub is Permanently Closed

This lovely old thatched pub just north of the Hampshire/Berkshire border has low oak beams and a wood burner for those cold days.

The solid wooden tables and chairs in the main bar are hand carved and there are two separate dining areas.

The Pineapple pub is even said to be mentioned in the Doomsday book.

Said to be mentioned in Doomsday book. Grade II Listed. Historic England List UID: 1166681. Listing says it dates from the 18th century.
