A pub since the 18th century, located within two minutes’ walk of the railway station and the main bus route between Reading and Newbury, the Rowbarge was extensively renovated in 2012. The large garden is on the banks of the River Kennet, with access to the towpath and moorings. Five of the six handpumps offer a varying range of ales, often from local breweries. Food is available all day and there is a separate restaurant area.
