This thriving, homely friendly and welcoming little club in the hamlet of Armitage Bridge serves up to two permanent and two changing guest beers - one from Empire, generally a porter, and a pale guest Beer from Yorkshire.

A regular Huddersfield CAMRA Club of the Year. Well worth seeking out and a great place to relax with a pint on an evening. There is a pool room upstairs.

No affiliation and no membership are required, and Gareth Shaw has been the manager for the last 15 years. Huddersfield CAMRA Club of the Year 2022-2024 and was runner up in in 2014 Yorkshire Regional Club Of The Year.
