Following a change of ownership this pub has undergone refurbishment during autumn 2022 and reopened in December 2022 as the Old Post Office, having previously been named the Office. It is indeed in the premises of the former Victorian Brighouse Post Office.
A large town centre pub spread across two floors with an outside drinks area to be enjoyed in the warmer months. The open-plan downstairs is split into various areas, with two seating areas to the left and another to the right. The bar is located to the rear. Two handpumps on the bar serve Moorhouse's beers.
There is a large room upstairs with its own bar.
The walls are adorned with Post Office themed pictures. There are also TVs showing sports in all seating areas.
The bar might close 15 minutes before the advertised closing time. Please contact the venue if you are wanting attend at the end of day.
